FYI RE. MAGNETICS

submitted by Zyklonbeekeeper to HDLunited 9 monthsAug 4, 2024 13:25:04 ago (+13/-0)     (HDLunited)

The granite plateau in the Arctic Circle around Baffin Island consists of ferrous iron that is so pure that it can be welded, in addition the north is rich in magnetite.
Is it any wonder a compass is attracted to the north.

What is an electromagnet, Alex?

Fair enough, but how do they work?

Being attracted to magnets isn't the same thing as creating a magnetic field, and magnetite is fairly weak. Most likely Earth's magnetic field is caused by some fusion process in the core, or the Sun's magnetic field, or a combination of the two.

It's caused by plasma dynamics responding the the Sun's magnetic field. There is one of those "responses at different levels of intelligence" charts. Bottom is there are 3 states of matter. Next is there are 4 states of matter. Next is there are 57 states of matter. Next is there are 3 states of matter. Plasma is not a state of matter any more than metal is a different state of matter from wood. Having electrons disassociate with the valence band does not a new state of matter make. So plasma is just conductive gas. Or arguably there are only two states of matter solid, and fluid. [solid, fluid:[liquid, gas]]. So the idea is to thing of plasma not as a state of matter but is really any conductive fluid material. You can get liquid mercury to behave a lot like a plasma. If you expose it to magnetic fields and currents and thermal gradients you are going to see a lot of the same stuff.

A plasma can amplify a magnetic field if it also has a thermo-dynamic flux going through it. Including it's own magnetic field. That's basically what the sun does. Then the Earth does the same in response to the sun, and crust magnetism, and it's own magnetism.

My contention earlier is that "it's spinning metal so magnet" is not a reasonable explanation we should teach children. I have no problem with the idea that there is magnetism in the crust or that the Sun and Earth's magnetic fields interact.

All I was saying earlier is that textbooks are claiming spinning metal equals a magnetic field on its own and we should never teach that. If we don't want to teach children plasma dynamics and how and why liquid metals have similar properties, then we shouldn't replace it with an outright lie.

It can be welded? Is it a giant spaceship?

Spaceship Earth..."roger your one niner and four zero"

Our kind live north ( -granted a few outposts in the Southern Hemisphere from which people of the north inhabited), Taco niggers, sand niggers, coconut niggers, slantey-eyed niggers, etc- all live in the middle…..

Conclusion-
Compasses are racist.

For all of the doubting faggots here (and there) who may be cerebrally crippled and unable to grasp even the slightest of venerable facts, particularly those facts of which my posts refer to, specifically this one...one of my clients whom I've supplied with cranes since 1996, had the contract to construct a mill and smelter in the Baffin Island area back in 2016/17/18 and one of my engineers oversaw the project. He told me that the iron was so pure that it would attract a magnet at ankle height, other locations were so heavily magnetic that sensors on geotechnical survey and ground penetration equipment would go erratic, it got to the point where project management said fuck it there's a lot of rich iron there and that they were no longer concerned about the depth of the deposits...also, not all of the arctic is covered in the amount of snow that most people think.
OH, AND ANOTHER THING, POLAR BEARS ARE NOT AN ENDANGERED SPECIES AND THEIR NUMBERS ARE VERY HEALTHY, IN FACT, SO HEALTHY ARE THE NUMBERS THAT A HUNTER IS ALLOWED TO SHOOT TWO, BUT THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT PURCHASES ONE FROM THE HUNTER AT A PRICE OF $2,500.00. A POLAR BEAR HIDE WILL FETCH UP TO $55,000.00 ON THE WORLD MARKET AND IT'S LEGAL, GOVERNMENT DOES NOT WANT ANYONE TO MAKE A PROFIT OF 100K SO IT TAKES ONE.

Upvoated. BTW, the "magnetic north pole is moving @ 27 miles a year. Heading to Siberia. "They" don't know why, although plenty of folks have theories. MUH CLIMATE CHANGE?

That rock the retard OP mentioned must be moving then eh?

Yep, i also have learnt there are also magnetic poles and geographic poles ?
