You are touching on something I'm trying to piece together.
Concentric educational solutions is an ~new~ company that is dedicated to bringing children back into the classrooms because of the recent crisis of kids not attending anymore.
They have a full program, calls check ins, home visits, the whole shabang basically telling parents they can't be faulted because of "conditions" but that's ok they will help you.
This all ties in somewhere. The guy (concentric) has even stated(sarcastically) COVID was the right pandemic to push his idea forward.
Side note. Would like the know why autocorrect capitalize COVID like that. Something something all capitalized means satanic. Makes sense.

It's a clusterfuck - but from all I've read on these migrants in New York, they seem to be having a shitty time of it (not that I feel sorry for them, just an observation)
Why don't they just go home? There is nothing there for them and they surely know by now that America's streets (well, the whole West) are not paved with gold.
It is mixed bag from what I can see. You have some that are doing what you hope/expect a recent arrival to the country would do (aside from going back to Africa) and that is work. Some are panhandling. Some are criminals. Some are fucking whiners who complain that there is not enough free shit or that they’re not being housed in convenient locations.
The big job for most of them (which is actually pretty lucrative) is food delivery. I guess I underestimated how many millennial faggots refuse to get off their fucking ass and go get their own lunch/dinner, because there are probably a couple thousand bikes and scooters chained up around Times Square alone for food delivery workers.
