Third White male of the family; he was three weeks early and an emergency cesarean required, but we're here.

Only time I have not been present for the birth...those 50s cartoons of the dad pacing and burning a pack of cigarettes from stress is no joke.

Congratulations on the new arrival!

Hope Mrs. Dole is faring well.

I imagine it must have been hard to not be present for the birth. Nevertheless, that's water under the bridge now.

It really was for the best I wasn't there. Umbilical cord wrapped baby and mom with an ovarian cyst would not have helped the situation.

Mrs. Dole is much better and bob12 is getting the fluids out of his lungs and perking up well. Hoping we can head home in the next couple days.

This was her first major surgery...she is learning fast how the recovery process is going to work.

Mrs. Dole will not be able to pedal her recumbent bike when she gets home like she did with the last two kids.

Did they put those leg cuffs on her? Greatest thing ever invented. Virtually no pain and recovery time is soo much quicker than before they used to use them. C sections 20 years ago sucked.

Glad it worked out. God bless you and your growing family. Just lost one myself :-( but we're going to try again as soon as the Mrs can handle it. We've got two perfect ones already but we're trying for two more if possible.

We were blessed in our own way. Mrs was not dilating and heartbeat was dropping lower with each contraction. After the cesarean, found out 12 had his umbilical cord wrapped around his neck. While inside, the doctor found a cyst on her left ovary. Baby is safe, cyst is removed and hopefully in a few days we'll go home.

Mrs told me after she came back that she dreamed this scenario multiple times and early in the pregnancy.

Keep hope and you'll be blessed again.

That happened with our first.

No joke, they were wheeling the crash cart in, preparing to unzip her. Mrs. Fascinus noped the fuck out of that scene and, with one mighty push, delivered him on the spot.
