The true history of the two Iraq wars.

submitted by Crackinjokes to History 1.7 yearsAug 11, 2022 08:37:25 ago (+45/-0)     (History)

Desert storm.

Saddam Hussein ask the us ambassador to Iraq if he could go into Kuwait because Kuwait was drilling under Iraq borders into their reserves. She told him yes.

He did. George Bush used that as an excuse to bomb Iraq and Kuwait to permanently restrict Iraq oil sales to keep the price of oil high for Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia paid off the Bush family by their joint partnerships in The Carlyle group which Saudi Arabia funneled oil profits money into. The Saudis funded. The bushes bought. They bought computer chip plants in Taiwan and media all over Asia. They also bought defense contractor companies that made military equipment that was bought by the coalition to fight in Iraq.

Saddam being lured into the Kuwait allowed bush to get the un to put permanent sanctions on Iraq oil ensuring high Saudi profits for years.

Finally after over a decade of Bush being out of office during Clinton's terms, Saddam convinced enough members of the UN security council to lift Iraq oil sanctions since it had been years and he had followed the rules and allowed inspections etc. The UN were to vote a few months after George W Bush began his first term.

Instead George W Bush concocted fake allegations against Saddam about hiding weapons of mass destruction and under the cover of 9/11 urgently launched his attack on Iraq to once again keep Iraq oil in the ground and Saudi prices high before the UN vote.

During the following US occupation of Iraq less oil flowed than under sanctions even though sanctions no longer existed because Iraq was freed from Saddam.

In fact despite the US completely occupying all of Iraq, terrorists somehow continued to bomb the major oil feeder pipelines in open dessert at the same place multiple times. It was so ridiculous that Leslie Stahl of 60 minutes did a report standing at the place in open dessert asking the us military how this could happen when a single helicopter patrol could see the length of the pipeline for 100 miles in the desert.

Iraq oil thus remained off the market another decade keeping oil prices high for the Saudis.

George Bush the first was meeting with Saudis including a bin laden on the board of the Carlyle Group in the Ritz Carlton hotel in USA on the morning of 9/11.

George W Bush 2 was president having hosted Prince Bandar the Saudi Arabia ambassador to the USA in the white House. A person so close to the Bush family that Barbara Bush called him "Bandar Bush".

As Paul Harvey would say "Now you know the Rest Of the story".

Addendum

There are two interesting correlation addendums to this time.

One.
Bush wanted all resistance to total control in Iraq gone. In the north there was a tribe called the Kurds who had fought Saddam and were pretty strong. They asked if they fought Saddam again would Bush back them up with US military. Bush said yes. They attacked. Bush did nothing. Saddam slaughtered them. Thus Bush got Saddam's army to first kill off the alternative power structure in waiting before Bush wiped out Saddam.

Secondly
The USA had in place a requirement that all gasoline contain 10% ethanol which was mostly produced by Midwest farmers in grain ethanol distilleries which the Midwest farmers owned. During Bush's presidency he claimed that because of the war they could no longer have this requirement because it artificially caused gasoline to go up in price so the requirement was stopped which caused the grain distilleries for ethanol to go bankrupt and all the farmers to lose all their money. Then the Saudis that were Bush's friends came in and bought up all those ethanol distilleries and the farming products that were the primary fuel competition to oil. Now of course that wouldn't have done the Saudis any good unless George Bush went back and made all gasoline once again contain 10% ethanol. Well guess what the very last act that George W bush did before he left office was.

Thanks for this. I had heard this but not seen any documentation.

If the Saudis are really Jews then it puts everything into a whole different world.

You're wrong on many things.

Iran was run by a very pro-American king who brought decadence and perversion to the country. The Shiite Muslim leaders and people didn't like this, and took out the king and replaced him with a religious leader and turned the country into an Islamic Republic.

This led to the '79 energy crisis and the US was not happy to lose control of Iran. The US also knew that the revolution could spread to the majority Shiite Iraq and the US would lose control of that too.

So they used the US's puppet, and former CIA operative, Saddam Hussein who they had placed in power as dictator, they got Saddam to start the Iraq/Iran war. (Saddam was a CIA operative as early as the 50's, who after becoming Iraq's president travelled to the US and was given the key to the city of Detroit. https://allthatsinteresting.com/saddam-hussein-key-detroit ) Iraq was supplied and funded by the US with Iraq being promised a large chunk of Iran as payment.

Iraq failed to win the war, and it bankrupted the country. Because Iraq did not receive payment in the form of Iranian land, and the proxy war bankrupted them, the US gave Iraq permission to take Kuwait as payment. But the king of Kuwait made a last minute deal with the US.

Saddam, the former CIA operative, was pissed. Burned the wells (Why would he burn wells that were tapped into his own oil reserves like you said?) And was now an enemy of the US.

The US couldn't do much about Saddam. They crippled his military and prevented him from developing nukes with the First Gulf War. They put sanctions on Iraq and they mainly just let him be. Until he started trading oil for Euros instead of US dollars. That was when they took him out.

Years later Gaddafi also tried selling oil for gold. He was taken out for this too.

This is correct.
I didn't go into Saddam's initial history though. I started at the first Iraq war.

Dick Cheney was asked in his only interview as candidate for vice president why he and the USA had supported Iraq publicly against Iran while secretly supporting Iran as well. (I might have that backward)

He said
"Sometimes you want your enemies to destroy themselves"

One of the biggest war crimes in history happened as sadaam withdrew from kuwait. The US ZOG straight up napalm bombed the Iraqi army after the conflict was over and they were on the highway returning to Iraq.

This all goes back to the pact signed with Saudi Arabia exchanging oil for protection.

My understanding is one or more radiation enhanced neutron bombs were deployed against the Iraqi military convoy leaving Kuwait in the February 26–27, 1991 so called "Road of Death" attack, that killed around 10,000 and destroyed some 2,700 vehicles in all .. the BBC reporter in situ said "a white mushroom cloud" was visible when the attack took place. Video.

Could be... some hypothesize whit phosphorus as well. Regardless it was a clear violation of every international agreement gleefully used to justify such wars.

April Gillespie was the ambassador to Iraq and lied to Saddam's face saying the US would not intervene since Kuwait was clearly in the wrong. In fact, the Kuwaitis has been slant oil drilling in Iraq for years and the most recent discovery by the Iraqis was not the first. It was like the 5th or 6th time and Saddam was tired of it so he decided to kick their ass and annex Kuwait. Saddam wanted the money from the oil sales back and it was in Saudi banks. You can guess what Saddam was going to do next.

Yep that's basically the main reasons for the wars. Israel also heavily supports any reason for the U.S. to have a presence in the middle east.

This first episode of The Unravelling podcast series talks a lot about Saddam Hussein and the build up to the war:
https://youtu.be/hBF_vgyTn5c

The entire series is good to listen to if you like war stuff. Pretty insane to learn how the U.S. military and special forces operated there.
