Ok the hill in the NASA Mars shot above has an undeniable resemblance to the hill in Neri's alleged "Idaho" shot, which could mean NASA is perpetrating a brobdignagian size hoax, however there is another possibility .. the interval between the time the NASA pic that has the dateline Sol 3522, 2022-07-03 17:01:57 UTC was loaded onto T.lol, and the reply Idaho by Paul_Neri was only a few minutes.
Someone is gonna have to tell me how Neri acquired such a comprehensive knowledge of specific scenic locations in that state, that he immediately recognized the profile as being from there .. the other option is that in full knowledge of the potential dissension has to cause trouble, he shopped the Mars image onto a random rural tableau then colored it in and passed it off as the real thing, think about it!
Just between you and me...I have no familiarity with Idaho except it's a desert-type place. But I thought I'd try and be smart and find an image on the Internet of Idaho that looked similar and surprisingly I did!
The NavCam shot above from Curiosity Sol 3518 has the same rounded hill with the same rugged sawtooth background, this time framed by similar monoliths which better show the layering in the Martian sandstone that formed in the impact that made Gale Crater. NASA Link.

Anyways, Mars has rocks and mountains. Earth has rocks and mountains.
Some of them are bound to be similar. They also both experience wind erosion.
