How the fuck do you mow on the real steep curves? I keep sliding off of the damn seat and it's nearly impossible so I need to use my shitty weed eater along the whole thing and risk falling down anyway. Is it even possible to install a seat belt on it? Do I just need less shitty shorts? It's a dumb as fuck and petty question, but a riding mower's pretty much all I have.
edit: Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I think in the end I'll probably have to just invest in a small push mower, since the riding mower tends to get stuck in those ditches anyway. That and, well, safety hazards with taking slopes like that.
If you're mowing an incline so steep that you're sliding off the seat you either need to make sure your boyfriend cleans all the lube off your ass when he's done or just use a weedeater.
Seriously though mowing steep inclines is going to either kill your mower due to lack of oil or kill yourself by flipping over and chopping your head off with a blade.
Buy a string trimmer and a Ballard's Darwin Grip and just whack it

Have you tried just going straight up the hill and back down rather than running the length of the incline. If that is not an option, buy a small gas mower with a drive motor for those sections
Find another way to do it on the"steep curves" dude because you are dicing with death persisting with the rider mower, there has been an abundance of fatalities among inexperienced ppl who thought rider mowers, sub compact tractors or 4WD motorbikes were the way to go.
Best bet from past expeience is taking angles to decrease the slope. It may not be square with anything else, but you should be able to cross-cut when needed.
Worst case is cut up and down the slope instead of parallel with it.
In your mowers manual where it says not to mow on more than a 15° angle; that is to keep the oil pick up in the sump picking up oil. Unless you have a dry sump. If the motor does not have an oil filter you should be able to drain the oil right now and observe a new state of matter due to the metal mixed in with the oil.
My mower is built like a small tractor, so it's top heavy, if I get on too much of a slope sideways it feels like it's going to tip over. So those areas get the weed whacker.
