Not so much if we dont include the illegal side of the internet. Sites obey without pressure. Their fear / sense of futility controls them. They hear and obey like proper slaves. The few that dont (if any) are arbitrarily destroyed by whatever means available. It takes little more than the touch of a button for most.

Everything to enact this has already been thoroughly established and those who demanded ever more control and monitoring over the internet made it happen. Thats what people dont keep in mind when they go along with censorship. They only think about getting rid of the thing they dislike. It doesnt matter what the control and monitoring systems were introduced for. Once its up it can be near endlessly repurposed and it so very often is.

Just take it as a friendly reminder that they long ago stopped pretending to be an American government and will get to all the sites you like in time if they are allowed.

That and its them admitting what those with open eyes already knew. Which is nice to have when one wants to point out the state of things or say that someones beliefs are government approved propaganda.

Oh and to ban a person across multiple sites you must know who they are each time. A nice foreshadowing.

Of course it eventually wont be enough to ban them either. There must be repercussions for doing what "endangers" the collective. There are lives being put at risk after all.
