I did one set of 60 and one set of 50 today. My goal is 100 every morning before work. Doing well so far along with kettle bell squats.

Not that is any of my business, but you should/could do a more difficult progression of the pushup instead of doing so many reps. For strength and muscle growth it would be way better to do 3 sets of fewer, but heavier reps. Keep up the good work!

Yeah, 60 pushups without warming up very day will take it's toll + heavier work strengthens ligaments, tendons and bones.

Yep, like the other guy said. You should stick to sets of 8-20 but make it difficult enough to fail within that range (weighted vest, elevated feet, "spiderman pushup" etc).

Otherwise you're just taxing your joints unnecessarily IMO.
