usually the exercise itself goes 'live'

Thanks Fren, stocked up for the whole family and a few extras for @4 months...could stretch to 6 mo. easily. Bought the Mt House freeze dryed when on sale, planted edible plants in public spaces and the garden (Camas, Sunchokes), have multiple water sources and multiple water filters.

Suggest any goats reading this get at least one water bob if you can't do rain barrels or have access to a creek or hand pump for a well. Remember with the water bob that it's first come first served, when the power goes, run and fill it first. I have a huge water tank near me that reminds me that the water which was pumped up there and is gravity fed will cease once it's used up and that might not be too long in the future after an outage.

Water Bob is a water bladder that goes in your bathtub. Holds up to 100 gallons.

it's a simple plastic rollup bag. Doesn't take up much space. If the power goes out, you put it in your tub and fill it up with the water that's left. The downside of having to haul from a stream is if you get sick (weak), the stream becomes contaminated, or have sniping issues -you're exposed. Their web site isn't the best and they're currently sold out, but it will get you started. https://waterbob.com/
