If you just want to keep your activity from being saved on your computer, just use a private window in Firefox. You can even set it so that private is enabled by default. If you don't want your IP tracked, download TOR and use that. You'll get privacy and IP anonymity -- though some sites put up roadblocks for TOR clients.

Also, with Firefox you can use more than one profile. I use this to set up different browser profiles for different purposes. I have profiles dedicated different sites, like banking, that I keep separate from casual browsing profiles. Voat has it's own profile. Some profiles have uBlock Origin enabled, some don't. Etc.

Chrome browsers are built from the ground up to leak various identifiers because the browser is built for advertisers not for users. Mozilla derivaties, other issues aside, are not built to do that.

I'm surprised the poster knows that much but doesn't know how to private browse.

https://www.kali.org/
or any of these Linux Distros that reside in memory only

You can either boot these from a USB drive or run them from VirtualBox

Who are you trying to stay private from? Trackers on the web or people with physical access?

The Brave Browser has a Private mode with Tor you can select. File/New Private Window or File/New Private Window with Tor.

Opera has something similar.
