Reuben is superior. Sauerkraut is fucking delicious when paired with corned beef, swiss cheese, Russian dressing and rye bread. It's not even up for debate. Ham, pork, pickles, mustard and Cuban bread? Fuck outta here. Any bread you have to wait in line for, because you're fucking starving, is inferior to rye bread made with care. Ham and pork? Pick one you fucking animals. No. Fucking no, reubens are way better than Cubans. How dare you even ask.

The reuben, becuase it is the perfect test sandwich for a new restaurant. Bit more obscure than the unfuckuppable cheeseburger, but forgiving enough that a bad one signals poor cooking overall. A good reuben is a good omen.

NYC style reuben : Sauerkraut , rye, real swiss grilled , mustard

2nd place : Chicago style : no Sauerkraut, but coleslaw

last place : abominable so-called "cubans" when in reality no one in cuba can ever afford real meat ever from socialism/communism

yes and it spread for 300 miles in every direction around Chicago, and as far as Toledo / Detroit you get a choice of NYC style or Chicago style with coleslaw.

Try both and compare. The other is like pouring sugar on the sandwich... its not bad at all, if you want a candy Reuben.
