ED articles are written by anyone with the inclination to do so and don't have much oversight. The same article can have multiple POVs, just as the entire web site does. This isn't carelessness or laziness, it's just that they don't give a fuck, and everything done there is for the lulz. If they happen to capture some accurate information (which they do more often than not, and are often more accurate than most sources), that's just icing on the cake.

They're in it for the money, and their ethics are very flexible. They're willing to bend or break their own rules depending on whether it's personally advantageous for them.
