18 years ago my ex girl friend while in highschool went to the U.S. as an exchange student and she sent me souvenirs from the great U.S. of A and "Hersheys kisses" was one of the exiting gifts and I forced myself to eat them all because it was the polite thing to do even though they had that mild flavour of vomit.

benjamissimo (best of bulgaria) and many others

you can tell chocolate quality by simply looking at the ingredients
if you pick up a bar and the first ingredient is sugar and NOT Chocolate mass and cacao butter
drop that shit right away

good quality chocolate needs at least 40% cocoa solids and if the list is incredibly long then it's highly processed and not very good

not quite, there are reputable brands that use cocoa butter (at least 27%) in their white chocolate production

always look at the ingredients, cocoa solids/butter is a hugely important ingredient
and while white chocolate is bad because of high sugar content, it is not as bad if it actually contains chocolate and isn't just goy oil mixed with sugar and other (((additives)))

My wife isn't American, and on her first trip to the USA, she bought some Hershey's Kisses out of a vending machine.

They literally tasted like the smell of cockroaches. Even I thought they were disgusting, and I grew up with them. We threw them out. She was put off Hershey's for years after that.

She's had them again since, and for whatever reason, they tasted fine the next time around. But yeah, Hershey's is cockroach vomit compared to European chocolate.

I don't know how Hershey's still exists. I don't think I know a single person who thinks it tastes even remotely good. The only thing the company has going for them is Reese's, and they didn't even create Reese's; the bought the company out.

Personally, I can’t take milk chocolate anymore.
Dark chocolate is much more rich and flavorful without being sweetened with a bunch of shit.
My wife is successful with weight watchers and bakes all kinds of yummy stuff with dark chocolate, honey, and other stuff like almond flour, etc… (or whatever she uses.) a cupcake is only a few points with raspberry/blackberry “icing”…

There is no fucking need for high fructose corn syrup in chocolate!
