Are you using an ergonomic keyboard? If not, why not?

No; they split the keys wrong. Original QWERTY layout was intended to slow down your typing so the hammers on the typewriter didn't jam. They placed common letters out of home row and put the emphasis on the left hand.

i do not use anything ergonomic because that word 'ergonomic' is gay

No, I sit correctly. And I like my mechanical keyboard.

I have terrible carpal tunnel. I used the Microsoft sculpt for years. I just purchased the Ergodox EZ. It is still being shipped so we will see how I like it. But for the price point, I better like it

The sculpt wasn't as good as the Natural 4000. Though, most people used the Natural 4000 wrong, anyway. You have to add the wrist thing at the front. Never used the Ergodox, but the basic idea of the ergonomics is that the keyboard should be higher the nearer it is to your body. Not the other way around. So your hand rests in a natural position instead of being constantly stressed.

Yeah. I use a standing desk too so I can easily adjust for height. It was beneficial for my back, wrists and shoulders when switching to standing

Because any keyboard is ergonomic enough next to the calculator, scratch pad, mouse, shit-to-do pad, drawings, folders, and notes.

I'm not a neet so it doesn't matter

Because you’re a nigger favor.

Idk why don’t you recommend me one

Try the Microsoft Natural 4000. It's the only one cheap enough to buy for a try anyway.

That bites I really hate giving Microsoft money but thanks I’ll loook into it

I'm on Linux since two decades, but they do make nice and affordable keyboards. Of course, if you really hate them, you can also go for the Kinesis Advantage 2, but that one costs $500 instead of $50.

I'm using too many keyboards to buy a fucking ergonomic piece of shit.

Ergonomic keyboards are a preventative measure that will save you ailments in old age. Of course, most keyboards with the 'ergonomic' aren't really ergonomic at all. Also, if you're not a touch typist, I guess it doesn't matter anyway.

The Natural 4000 from Microsoft is the cheapest one at $50 that gets the ergonomic right. It's what I'm using, since I'm too much of a cheapskate to get a Kinesis Advantage 2 for $500. Also, the entire make your own keyboard thing is too much hassle for me.

Same. A normal mechanical keyboard does more for comfort than an ergonomic layout but cheap keys.

Writing a novel or a computer program with a mobile device is torture, though. Anything you can recommend for external keyboards for a mobile device?

What the shit? Mobile device is a consumption device and its terribly inefficient due to small screen size. PC is a creation device and a much more effective consumption device.

Your advice is gay.

You can spend more time being outside and seeing the world by not consuming on a mobile phone and spending less of that time consuming the same amount of content on a PC.

What the fuck does using an app to tether data have to do with anything I wrote or anything you wrote in your previous reply? Why even mention a specific app? Why not just tether from system settings without being a retard?
