Any recommendations on Japanese beetles?

The fuckers are fornicating all over my basil. I have tried neem oil/ dish soap, but it doesn’t seem to do shit.

Garlic spray is what I'm trying this year. You can also plant garlic, which I haven't tried yet.

Let me know how that works out. I am just growing basil in containers this year, but hope to have it in a raised bed next year.

That is what I was doing at first, but I can’t be going out to pick 30 of these fuckers every hour.

I get them every year, but it is way out of control this year.
