No one else can even pretend to compete, because it needs google’s ad revenue to subsidize it. That’s why they’re fine with it operating at a loss. Not even that, let's assume they have the money on hand to subsidize it for, say, 10 years. They'd still need the infrastructure, thousands and thousands of server farms and data centers all over the world and the legal connections and whatnot to operate it all.

Look at Nick Fuentes, it took him basically four years of constant work to build a completely independent streaming platform, avoiding all the (((major))) providers, and he's still struggling to find a payment processor now.
