So they’ll just be forcibly closed and everyone arrested. I don’t understand what anyone thinks will happen. They’re not going to kill the cops who come to arrest them, so it’s a foregone conclusion.

Here's what will happen in a nutshell:

"Hey cops, we'd like to pay you but we have no tax money."

Cops forcibly seize assets and shoot/arrest business owners to protect their own paychecks.

Taxes are eventually collected and cops are paid. Dissenters are either dead or imprisoned. Status quo is maintained, shuttered businesses are replaced by big corp-owned joints.
