Every White hunter I’ve met eats their meat or has plans to donate it. Every black hunter I’ve met- who am I kidding, I never see them hunting anything other than White women.
I can’t expect a non-White to understand how to have compassion for while also hunting an animal. Complex, mixed emotions is a Caucasian feature that other races seem to not possess.
I forget sometimes that it isn't just dogs that pant. You can see the deer panting when first brought up.
Similarly, it blew my mind to learn that both goats and pigs will also wag their tails when excited, and, excepting the creepy iris shape, can be 'pottytrained', and actually make good pets.
Humans are basically the only thing on Earth that sweats. This forces most things to get rid of heat in other ways such as panting, or immersion in water.
Ancient hunting practice was to run something down in a group until the thing stopped from overheating. Then you just walk up and slit it's throat or bonk it on the head. No fighting back, no risk of injury, hunt something as big as you can carry home with the group.
Edit: goats are a fun farm animal to have. Playful and energetic, though problematic in how they eat/escape everything. Good milk and meat, so long as they are taken care of. Goat-meat tacos are a favorite here.

Before I saw what sub this was in, I was going to say, "Brought to you by white people." So sad that we all know what would've happened to that poor animal if a nog had come across her.
