My uncle in law wants one of those also. He keeps selling his cool planes because he is old, but then he misses flying and buys another.

This little thing was a tiny little 2 seater. Maybe a Piper? It was cool. But I'll have to sell the boat if I switch to flying.

I was actually thinking of getting into gliding, some of those youtube vids are amazing and the pilots I talked to say they can go 10,000 miles on a good day as long as you avoid large bodies of water.

Gliders are the same as PPL and utilize ground effect for landings. They have ReGens on some of them to give you a boost if you need one.
