We have all ages amongst our ranks, and teens are used to the idea of 'absolute unbeatable power' from relationship dynamics with parents, which is extrapolated outwards (teachers/schools are absolute and unbeatable -> governments are absolute and unbeatable, etc).

Fun fact: Niger was once pronounced with a hard 'G', and those from Niger were Niggers. American's didn't quite care what country a particular black was from, and so all blacks were Niggers (similar to all Spanish are Mexicans, all Asians are Chinese - we've not really cared for a long time now).
At some point mid-late last century, the 'Nye-Ger' pronunciation was replaced with 'Nye-Jer', and those from Niger were Nigerians. Also, (((they))) replaced Uranus 'Your-Anus' with 'Yer-Onus', and started a 'reclaim the N word!' campaign which has been pretty much forgotten about now.
I think this is where all of the 'manholes'->'personholes' etc word replacement of the 90s originally evolved from.
Not sure, but as a further fun fact, Nigeria didn't 'exist' until the 1960s, being basically an unclaimed territory where various tribes passed through.
Niger has been known as Niger for nearly as long as we have had colonies on Africa.

Niger is merely latinized/romanic word "BLACK", and all nations describe africans as "black" for thousands of years.
Fun fact... the word "orange" is a color, and the fruit was named orange long long after the color "orange" existed.
