im skeptical on this it kind of makes my head hurt a little.
i live in aus. not everwhere people live can be connected to the major power stations you got a lot of local plants that run all sorts of things but wind and solar are a flat out fail, always has been, always will be.
so power storage and AND the potential ability to actually maybe make that storage portable, yeah im down with that.
problem is all these battery systems we keep seeing no matter what either require more energy to produce the claimed power than they actually put out, or still have to be connected to the grid and are only a backup, so once the battery is dead thats it no more power.
no matter which way you look at it the only way we can be completely self sufficient power wise is with fuels that theyre intentionally taking away from us.
pretty good if everyone is living in the big smoke but how far do you think you can get in an electric powered only car in australia? there wont be any driving to alice springs any more if clown world wins. and there wont be any getting away from anything for anyone if every car is electric and no way to recharge them when someone decides to flip the switch for good.
oh, i would try and make sure you have access to a diesel powered generator. them you can run off wood smoke. can and does also work on diesel powered cars if you have the time and inclination. yes. you can run a diesel fueled car, by slapping a wood heater and water cooling system in it somewhere.

no. you cannot run a car on water.
