I was driving on a 6 lane road after dark.
Speed limit is 45. Most people drive 55 on this road. It's wide and smooth.

Luckily I was doing the speed limit. Listening to country music and relaxed.

I saw a scooter, like a vespa, pull up to a red light intersecting my path. It came to a stop then inexplicably pulled out right in front of me.

I stood on the brakes!
Even with ABS tires howl when you brake that hard.

I missed them by about 8 feet. It was a young couple. I'd say about 19 years old. The girl was driving.

I pulled up along side and shouted at them "DUDE! I ALMOST KILLED YOU!". She was shook up and said "Im sorry, I'm sorry!". The fucking soyboy on the back just had a stupid grin on his face.

I was in a bike accident last year and my 4500 lb truck would have made them and their stupid scooter a mess in the road.

I hope she learns to ride before she gets killed.

We told the tech to start the tune at 1:35. As the line "working like a nigger for my room and board" from Davids lips hit the loudspeakers, at least 50 moms gasped, all pretending to not hear the word nigger for the first time even though it was falling out of the lips from the nigger music their sons chose. It was glorious, and hilarious. My son pitches, we struck out the nigger team and after the first time he went to bat they stopped playing his song, the silence reminded everyone why his song was simply the best.

Just got back from our local dawn service and was pleasantly surprised by a good turnout . About 2 thousand people there paying respects to our armed forces. I didnt think much of acknowledging the abbos for whatever the fuck they did and although a young woman was chosen to play the bugle for the last post ,she actually nailed it so a reluctant thanks to her.

We didnt get a flyover by jets or old war birds but we did get a flock of cockatoos as the service wound up.
